At “Chal-Charkha Women Training and Employment Centre, rural Women are given complimentary training in various crafts such as Amber Charkha, Handloom weaving, Carpet making, and Aari zardozi handicrafts. These skills are imparted by trained experts from Pratibha Mandal, who are celibate sisters with expertise in arts and crafts.
Every worker of our training center has to pledge to a vegetarian lifestyle and a virtuous way of living.
Handloom and handicraft training serves as potent catalyst for the empowerment of Women in rural and tribal communities. Through these programs, Women not only develop their Creative abilities but also nurture entrepreneurial skills, fostering holistic personal growth and empowerment.
Non-violent cotton clothes, weaved on handlooms, consist of thousands of threads. Women weavers receive training and are provided with means of livelihood. Clothing woven on handlooms serves not only as a product but also as a vehicle for social and economic advancement in society.
These garments encompass many health benefits as they are made from 100% cotton and are entirely non-violent, lacking any coating of mutton tallow.

Spinning yarn on the Amber Charkha is an ancient technique where the yarn is handspun through a charkha. The fabric made from this yarn is called Khadi. This textile is soft and offers a cooling effect in summer while providing warmth in winter.
‘Aari embroidery’ holds cultural significance as it reflects the heritage and traditions of the regions where it originated. The motifs and patterns used in Aari embroidery often symbolise various aspects of Bhartiya Culture and Mythology, making it an integral part of the country’s artistic Heritage.
